Practical baby gifts can be defined as gifts that relate to the basic care of
the baby or are generally 'needed' baby items. Receiving

practical-type baby gifts. The gifts
may tend
to be a little predictable, but are very useful, indeed.
Fun baby gifts are usually not necessities, but still have a place in baby's
world. Fun baby gifts might include stuffed animals, nursery decor or a
cute little outfit that baby doesn't need but will look adorable in nonetheless.
Fun gifts tend to be the ones that get more attention at baby showers because
they're, well, fun. Can a

and fun. Instead of buying the standard child-themed dish set, find one

buying a Gift Certificate. That way, the recipient can decide what
type of gift to buy based on what they've already received.
Should you buy from the baby registry or not?
If there is a baby registry, decide if you want to
shop from it or if you'd rather go it alone. The registry is a safe way to
go since the soon-to-be parent or parents selected the items. However, if you are
the more adventurous type, then ignore the registry and start shopping!
